UNCOMMON FRIENDSHIP
Yes, how strange it may look, this wild boar piglet is actually living in Bucharest and is the best friend of my dog...until the piggy will be moved to the wildlife reservation of Delphinarium from Constanta.

Bucharest Zoological Garden
The Zoo Garden from Bucharest was set up in 1955, and on 1st May 1959 has opened its first visiting season. Since 1962, becomes the Bucharest Zoological Garden, and in the same year was included in the International Zoo Almanac.
The Zoological Garden has an area of 5.85 ha , and is a public settlement that keeps and exposes collections from the exotic fauna and from the local fauna.

VITAN POND BALTA VITAN
Balta Vitan se afla intre strazile Calea Vacaresti, Splaiul Dimbovitei si Calea Vitan. Balta s-a format in bazinul abandonat al unui rezervor de apa, similar Lacului Morii.
Vitan pond is located in the abandoned water reservoir located in Berceni neighborhood, in SE of Bucharest. The edges are Vacaresti street, Vitan street and the river Dimbovita. The pond has become a paradise for many water birds and is a great place for birdwatching.
